Tabiary does not collect your data. There is no server, no account and no analytics.
What the extension stores, and where
- Your tab history: the address, title, pinned state, tab group and window of your open tabs, saved as versions. It is stored in the extension's database inside your Chrome profile, on your computer.
- Your settings: stored in the extension's local storage on your computer.
- Backup and export files (if you use them): written to your Downloads folder. They contain your tab history and are not encrypted, so treat them like any personal file.
The extension does not read the content of the pages you visit, does not run code inside web pages, and does not record tabs in Incognito windows.
What leaves your computer
Nothing. The extension makes no network requests of any kind.
This website
This site is static and sets no cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which, like any web host, processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver the pages.
Support email
If you write to us, we keep the conversation for as long as needed to help you and for up to two years afterwards.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual versions inside the extension. Removing the extension deletes its database and settings. Backup and export files are ordinary files that you delete yourself. To have your support emails erased, write to us.
Chrome Web Store user data policy
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Tab data is used only to provide the backup and restore features you see, is never transferred, and is never used for advertising or credit decisions.
